A built up flat roof membrane consists of two or more superimposed layers of a bitumen roofing sheet which is bedded and bonded with hot bitumen or fused together by torch application method. This multi-layer system gives more levels of defence against water ingress.

Removing the old lead, without damaging the existing brick work and render can prove an ardious task.
After two days work, the job was finished. We even had time for a cup of tea.
